Classroom Wish List
About me: Hello! :-) I am so excited to be teaching at Elab! This is my second year at Elab, but my ninth year in education. I have five years of experience in third grade, one year in first, and two years as an elementary campus literacy coach. I graduated with my Masters in Reading from UT Tyler in August 2008 and am also a certified Reading Specialist. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for five years. He is the assistant volleyball coach at Northwestern State University. We do not have any kids just yet, but have four dogs, Dixie, Lady Bird, Burgh, Lex, and two cats, LuLu and Punkin'. In my spare time, I enjoy dot comming, reading (mainly nonfiction), shopping, and exercising. I am currently training to run the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon (26.2 miles) in San Antonio in November and am already signed up to run another one in New Orleans in February 2010.
