Welcome to our new NSU Elementary Lab School website. We hope you will visit this site often and utilize the information about activities happening around our school.
I have been principal of NSU Elementary Lab since 2004 and am very proud of the outstanding learning opportunities which are offered to our students on a daily basis by our dedicated teachers and staff members.
Our school is unique in many ways. We are part of the Natchitoches Parish School System and are also associated with the Education Department of Northwestern State University. On a daily basis, we have observers from NSU, Methods students who are working towards degrees in education from NSU, parent volunteers, student workers from NSU, and student workers from the Louisiana School for Math Science and Arts.
We have two classes each, kindergarten through fifth grades, with a faculty and staff of dedicated professionals who subscribe to our motto, “Where Children Come First!” We offer music, library, physical education, speech, and resource opportunities for our students.
